Hon. David S. Cunningham, III Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, California

This Judge has a an extremely poor understanding of the law compared to the other judges on the bench in LA. He clearly has his "favorites" in terms of law-firms and appears to walk into court with his mind already made up. He thinks poorly "on the fly" in my experience - If you want to win with this judge, you need to "keep it simple" as he appears to be unable to handle complex arguments in real time. Overall, I give him a poor rating. He is not open minded. I have never once seen him prepared for his proceeding in any case I have had.

Very unorganized. Get a court reporter if you go before this judge.

No wonder this Judge was elected in 2010. There are powerful law firms supporting her. Clearly, she is biased towards them. There is no way for a litigant appearing pro se to win a case before this judge once an opposing party is presented by one of these high-profile attorneys. Even if the law is by your side, she will never oppose to her sponsors. Having terrible feeling after today's hearing. My human dignity, citizen's rights have been violated. Тhere is nothing I can do about it given that It will cost a fortune to appeal against the Court's judgement. But what makes it even worse that no justice should be expected anyway.

Very helpful in prosecuting your case. Likes to send poor kids to prison.

This judge is impatient, rude and disrespectful. She does not have a judicial temperament. She seems unprepared and does not appear to have read the documents provided to her for the cases. She has frequent outbursts and treats both parties and attorneys with contempt. She is ill suited for the bench, particularly for family court where people are usually traumatized, hurt, angry and stressed. I have seen her exacerbate very volatile situations by dismissing and belittling parties and attorneys. This judge should either be removed from the bench or from family court to a less stressful situation. I doubt that she can handle being on the bench.

Lazy. Not open-minded. Was more interested in going home for the weekend, than listening to testimony.

Judge abuses her power. Many complaints from this judge from numerous people. She is rude and does not allow to question any of her decisions. She threatens people with going to jail if anyone questions her. she threatened me by putting me in jail for contempt of court for interrupting her. I was in no way rude or disrupted her while she was talking. Judge is unfair and her tactful way of being was an over all unfair treatment in my view.
