Hon. Mary Pat Zitter Mercer Co. Probate/Juvenile Court, Ohio

793. party to case (with attorney)

Does not seem to go by the letter of the law and bases her ruling on what she "feels" is right and not what the law says must be proven to be right.

Michele Bononi was an excellent Judge. Explained everything to me and helped me with my case.

Seems to be biased against Plaintiff's/the underdog/the average person (as are most judges that were former District Attorneys). She often ignores the law and the facts if it would render a ruling in Plaintiff's favor. She seems to be miserable all the time, listening to most testimony /arguments with her eyes closed and leaned back - which makes you think "is she asleep"? Her unpleasant demeanor would be bearable if she was a fair judge - but her unfairness makes her demeanor unbearable. She makes arguments raised by neither party when it will render a ruling against Plaintiff. She seems to be mainly concerned with protecting her cushy job by ruling for those she believes to have more political power. Lets hope she gets a taste of her own medicine one day when she is the Plaintiff - but of course if she is a Plaintiff her judicial colleagues will automatically rule in her favor simply because she is their "judicial sister". I would only give her one or two stars because I have witnessed worse judges than her - hard to believe but true - many of the civil judges in southern California have many of the aforementioned issues.

Hon. Ellen Gay Conroy Superior Court of California, County of Ventura, California

788. party to case (pro se)

A judge is required to abide by the Rules Governing Judicial Conduct. Judge Ellen Gay Conroy is guilty of conduct prejudicial to the effective and expeditious administration of the business of the courts. The judge is incompetent and her bias was evident.

Just an old guy, very confused. Has old fashioned values and might try to act like he's being fair but he's made up his mind very early on in any case. Avoid at all costs.

Doesn't pay attention, loses focus quickly and is confused about the issues at hand. Very old school, has a hard time understanding the current issues.

This Judge is fair to the Child, but still does not choose the Child's best Intrest. Wants to start no waves. Attorney proved her wrong on a case law and she got back by not changing child custody.
