Hon. Jeffrey S. Bostwick Superior Court of California, County of San Diego, California

I am appalled at Mr. Bostwick's clear compliance with fraudulent accounting practices on Probate cases. Where other San Diego Probate Judges refused clearly fraudulent accountings, Mr. Bostwick waved it through with a flick of his wrist. Does this person ever read the documents before him? He recently refused to hear a case because it would take more than a day and referred the case to Civil court. This is the work of a lazy person and not a person, who in good faith, is doing the best job they were elected for. Check the cases for yourself. Any day of the week in his court room. Its all there in the public records.

I also saw the article concerning the ruling of Elizabeth Lewis. Judge Dan Gattermeyer DID NOT perform his job properly. Elizabeth Lewis clearly neglected this dog and she was charged not guilty and then given the dog back. I have provided a link below to the article where I found this information. I would hope that this information leads people to investigate further on Dan Gattermeyer and his ruilings.

Concern for the ruling of Elizabeth Lewis being found not guilty of a cruelty charge resulting in the starvation & death of a companion animal in October, in the Hamilton Municipal Court by Judge Dan Gattermeyer. The dog was brought to the animal shelter in August by a dog warden. At that time the dog lethargic, malnourished and weighed 17 pounds. The dog was to returned to Elizabeth Lewis. The same dog had to be taken to a vet clinic to be euthanized to end its suffering, according to Meg Stephenson, executive director of the Butler County Animal Friends Humane Society. The condition of the dog was a direct result of starvation. The suffering of this animal almost ended but something happened when it entered the court room and nothing was done. Ashame.

I appeared in pro per for a family law matter and this judge was biased to the party that had the attorney representation I blame myself for the crappy outcome because I was not mentally prepared, and I did not get my point across but the judge showed severe bias, and more concerned with clearing his calendar then an equitable resolution if I could withdraw my msa I would

Unprepared, rants unprofessionally over insignificant issues that are not relevant, no discussion of child's needs for custody, speaks solely of her family and how great of a parent she is, screams, improper courtroom procedures, biased, favoritism to politically connected and attorneys she socializes with, absolute misuse of judicial authority and abuse of ethics, and no one at courthouse respects her but schmoozes so she will listen to them in court. Don't know what westmoreland county voters were thinking especially since it took 3 elections to make it with more money spent campaigning than any other judge elected. Absolute disgrace to judicial system.

Limited experience with her. The majority of the local family bar have been grumbling "ego" "nuts" "crazy". She ignores rulings made by her own associate Judge. She has lost entire files, appointed amicus to oversee amicus. Word is the media has been sniffing around and an exposé is in the works.

Hon. Cara Beatty Superior Court of California, County of Shasta, California

857. party to case (pro se)

I appeared before Cara Beatty in a matter several years ago. Having spent some time working with judges and clerks, I was surprised by the lack of judicial acumen displayed by Judge Beatty. Needless to say, her ruling was ill-informed and lacking in understanding the facts of the case. it was more like a small claims pro tem judge going on a gut feeling.

This woman has neither the temperament nor the intelligence to be a sitting judge. I recommend that any defendant NOT let her hear your case.

Hon. Laura L. Laesecke Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, California

This judge made the experience of being a juror not only interesting, but pleasant as well. Rarely have I been so impressed by someone's demeanor as I was by The Honorable Judge Laura Laesecke. It was obvious that everyone working in her court had great respect and admiration for her. Her level of patience was well beyond reasonable necessity and she made everyone -- jurors, attorneys, witnesses, plaintiff, and defendent -- as comfortable as could be possible within the confines of the circumstances. She sets a very high bar for all other members of the judiciary.
