Hon. Daniel Palmieri Nassau County Supreme Court, New York

8570. party to case (with attorney)

I appeared before Judge Palmieri as petitioner in an 81 hearing on the welfare of my incapacitated father in 2016 and 2017. All in all I spent at least 11 days in his court room. This is a no nonsense judge. He is fair & measured as well as unbiased. The judge is wonderfully well read on the briefs unlike many judges who seem bored with the cases. He is relatively patient with the attorneys. A very thorough judge who is concerned with following the law and does due diligence. He also seems to be a very nice man.

Hon. Ronald L. Styn Superior Court of California, County of San Diego, California

8569. party to case (pro se)

This rating is for the Unlawful Detainer case filed June 19, 2017, where Judge Ronald Styn substituted for the regular judge, Judge Gary Creep, on July 10, 2017, case #37-2017-21557-CL-UD-CTL. Defendants, Keith Harris, & Ronald Billups, both defendants pro per. Defwndant Keith Harris, who wasn't feeling well the day of the hearing, must admit, of the many court filed in the Superior Court of California, County of San Diego, usually when self-reptesented or pro per, Judge Ronald Styn upheld the Defendants rights, under the law, with the Plaintiff filing an unlawful detainer against the Defendants January 2017, which Defendents successfully completing the terms of the stipulation on or about April 2017, Defendants have never had a problem paying rent, but due to Defendant Harris receiving his Social Security Survivors benefit the 2nd Wednesday of each month, the Plaintiff, Donald Henely and the Plaintiffs property management company have caused Defendants Keith Harris and Ronald Billups unimaginabls intentional infliction of emotional distress, by the constant threats by the property management company that the renr must be paid in full by the the 3rd of each month and that rent paid the 2nd Wednesday of each month will no longer be accepted. Defendant, Keith Harris wll verify the following under penalty of perjury of the laws of the State of California. Defendant, Keith Harris' cases are represented "pro per" not that Defendant dreams of becoming an attorney, but after making calls in an attempt to employ counsel, the Defendant can nevet find a lawyer, unfortunately, a lot of judges will side-up with opposing counsel, rule in opposing counsels favor, regardless of how many laws are viollated, and the Judge handling the case will make a comment in the minute order the po se party neefs to find legal representation, which the laws under the Constitution apply to all litigants, whether pro se or represented by counsel, nevertheless, the pro se litigant, has witnessed rulings, by a judge, in favor of opposing counsel when their case is based on facs of perjury, it seems a judge, to avoid ruling against a California State Bar member, will chose to commit perjury rather than applying the law, for example, the pro se litigant filed a wrongful death case in 2016, the statute of limitations use to be 1 year, but was changed to a 2 year statue of limitations approximatley 15 years ago, the opposing counsel cited a 1 year statute of limitatiions, and the presiding judge ruled in favor of opposing counsels 1 year statue of limitations, ignoring the pro se litigants citation in the court complaint that cited the statute of limitations for wrongful death was 2 years, with the law citing the year the change took place thd presinding judge dismissed the wrongful death cause of action, reason, 1 year statute of limitation. Judge Ronald Styn, did not ignore the Defendats request for a hardship under code of civil procedure 1179, and informed the Defsndants that if the conditions under code 1179 where stipulated and meet, that Defendants tenancy would be restored, thank you, Judge Ronald Styn. Judge Ronald Styn, ordered Plaintiffs attorney to draft and submit the minute order, on or about, July 14, 2017, Defendants had not receved the order the court told Plaintiffs attorney to draft, and as of today, July 24, 2017, Plaintiff"s attorney not drated the order reflecting the outcome of the case, no information of the case is in the courts register of actions computer, no filing date, or court hearing date, but case information does come up when searching the courts filing office computer. Again, thank you Judge Ronald Styn for applying the law that applyed to the Defendants, instead of ignoring the Defendants rights

Unfortunately I had the bad experience of witnessing Judge Diaz state that he didn't want to hear a case due to the fact that it was almost time to go home. This case had to do with a mother and father attempting to regain their children. This should of been handled another way or at least a better choice of words should of been used.

In all fairness to her strictness, my son went on to achieve a Master's degree in literary translation, and is working as a diplomatic translator in Munich. He graduated Suma Cum Laud from UCDavis, and was awarded a scholarship from a fraternity.

This judge is very wise, and very fair. I would very much like to meet her again someday, on a social level.

This judge married my husband and I. He corrected himself when he said, "Holy Matrimony " for the purposes of the civil liberty of freedom of religion and separation of church and state, however, for all intensive purposes on the date of 7/17/17 I pronounced to my husband David Walter Triplett, that I have kept my holy vow 17 years, and that I am pregnant. We were married in court on February 1,2008. I never signed divorce papers, however we remarried on Hillary Clinton's birthday 2012. Here we go again, Verily I am David's wife eternal Try as the court may try to correct itself. Also, Pope Francis had a very good sermon in favor of the marriage on Palm Sunday 2017.
