Judge Martin definitely has favorites when it comes to his court. It's unfortunate for those who prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt. My husband has lost so much time with his children due to his ex-wife's control issues. All the communication put in front of this judge showing how she manipulates and lies, and he states he can't hold her in contempt of the direct violations of the initial Decree put into place in 2009. She then turned around and had this right of first refusal put into place since my husband travels. Keep in mind the children have two other sisters whom live with us and they all love each other very much. My husband has followed that order every time he has left town. Within the past two months she has left town, once denying him access to the children and hiding them so he could not pick them up, and another just flat not telling him she was leaving. Our attorney informed us today that who believed it to be pointless to file contempt because Judge Martin is not going to hold her in contempt. This woman drinks and drives with the children, proof submitted, they almost burnt their house down do to drinking and only remembered there was a child in the bedroom because the 911 operator asked a couple of times is there anyone else in the house, this is as they stood outside calling for help. I could go on and on, but I have to say I am completely disgusted by our justice system and how they protect a child parent relationship from another irrational parent. Make sure you have an Attorney who Judge Martin is in with or you will be fighting a money whole battle and still lose.
This afternoon at approximately 4 pm, Judge Martin had two Pro Se litigants in front of him. after dismissing them, he then asked the father to stay back. After the mother had left, he told the Pro Se father how to file paperwork in his case to get the desired results he wanted. He screamed at the Mothers friend because he thought the Man smiled at him. He told him he was a judge and he could put him in jail forever if he wanted to......
Overall very good judge. Gets a bit cranky at times, reasonably prompt in his rulings taken under advisement. Will give a disproportionate division of property on the basis of adultery. See through BS shoveled by attorneys.
This judge was as bias as they come. In open court he stated that it would do no good for my kid to obtain college credit. He ruled on his relationship with the attorneys instead of the facts. He was a horrible person with no class or character.
