You may have a fair shot with this judge if his cousins - Jimmy and Sammy Davis - arent the lawyers on the other side. If they are, you're gonna get screwed.

If there were zero stars, I'd give this clown a zero. It's time to retire Jerry. You're 75 years old. Judge Solomon is a remnant of the corrupt political and judicial system in Fayette County. The only reason he sticks around is to help out his cousins, Superlawyers Samuel and James Davis, in cases that they have before him. It's amazing how many cases they have in front of him, by the way. It's also amazing how he never has a conflict of interest. This man is the epitome of why the judicial system in Pennsylvania is a joke. The Judicial Conduct board may as well be non-existent, because they apparently don't think that there is any "conflict of interest" for a judge to preside over the cases brought to the court by his cousins. If it wasn't so sad, it may be funny.

When Judge Solomon was District Attorney, he hid evidence which ultimately led to a man by the name of Munchinski being convicted of murder in 1986. In 2013, the Federal District Court found that Solomon and his deputy DA, Warmsm (nowva retired Judge) withheld exculpatory evidence during Munchinski's case and overturned his conviction. Munchinski is now suing them and Fayette county for millions...and I hope he wins and takes Solomon's Lexus. Yet, Solomon still proudly takes the bench despite what several state court and federal court judges have determined about his misconduct in the Munchinski case. Anyone else would be locked up if they perpetrated a fraud on the court to convict a man of murder. How is Solomon still walking around as a free man, let alone sitting as a judge??? Is the Judicial Conduct board that impotent? Is the system that corrupt?

An old court story involved a prominent figure of the community, Susanne Teslovich, the Fayette County Commissioner in Pennsylvania. The commissioner was on trial for operating and heading a prostitution ring in the county, which she kept a black book of addresses for. That, along with other forms of evidence, led to her conviction and eventually being found guilty in a court of law. What threw this trial into a tumult was what was redacted from the little black book that she supposedly used for her clients. Out of hundreds of names in the book, Judge Gerald R. Solomon ordered only two be redacted and shielded from public review. Their names would then be subsequently blacked out on all documents made public in the Teslovich case. Why only these two men, you ask? Ha ha ha. Well, sir, I'd be glad to tell you. The Name of their attorney was..... wait for it..... Samuel Davis (cousin of Judge Solomon). Corruption? Favoritism? You tell me.
