It's is my opinion that Judge Cepparulo is a credit to his profession, and a fair, rational and learned jurist. He has demonstrated moral character of the highest calibre, and has demonstrated his courage to punish in the harshest terms the most despicable, and vilest child predators that would likely re-offend if not locked up for good.
Judge Cepparulo is fair and honest. That statement really means something coming from me considering I was in front of him for sentencing. I committed the crime, I admitted to what I had done and was remorseful. Judge Cepparulo took this into consideration when sentencing me. He gave me a fair sentence. I did jail time for the crime I committed(5-23months on a first offense) but I did commit the crime and he could have been much harsher. If you are ever in front of him be honest and take responsibility for your actions and he will treat you fairly but don't expect to be given a pass.
As a police officer (now retired) I knew if he was defending a client it was going to be a battle. As a judge, he knew when someone was telling lies.... a heaven help that person from the rath of the judge. I know he is a decorated war veteran and served his country honorable.
